“It seems to me that people have vast potential. Most people can
do extraordinary things if they have the confi dence or take the risks.
Yet most people don’t. Th ey sit in front of the telly and treat life as if it
goes on forever.”
—Philip Adams (1939-)
Preparedness is a key to any success. Think about it. Would you fill the tires of your car after you drove the car a hundred miles? Of
course not. You would have made sure you had air in your tires, a spare in your trunk, a lug wrench, and a jack before you put the key in the ignition and started the engine. If you will take that much care for your car, you should take it for every aspect of your life. Prepare for every moment you can and reap the benefi ts of making molehills of mountains because of that preparedness. As you learn to harness your success, own the knowledge you gain, constantly test and seek growth, prepare for the bend around the corner, and believe you will succeed. As success comes to you, expect nothing less. Persist in your pursuit of success as you develop and evolve your definition of success. Believe you can when everyone else swears you can’t. Success is waiting for you to claim it. You must allow it to happen to you.
